Irene Wright is a McClatchy Real Time Reporter, based in Atlanta, Georgia.
As part of the Real Time Team, her work is published in all 30 McClatchy News Network papers across the United States.
Irene covers national health news and international discoveries.
She previously covered real-time news out of Florida and the southeast.
Irene completed a Bachelor’s of Arts in Ecology from the Odum School of Ecology and a Master’s in Health and Medical Journalism from the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia.
